The closest airport to get to Troncones is the Zihuatanejo / Ixtapa International Airport.  It is just 40 minutes from Casa Neuva. The airport code is ZIH. There are daily international flights arriving from Houston, Los Angeles and Mexico City with connections from almost every major airport in the US and Canada. During high season (November – April), there are additional flight options from Denver, Phoenix and Toronto.

Many major airlines fly to Zihuatanejo (airport code: ZIH), including Alaska Airlines, United Airlines, US Air, AeroMexico and Delta. The tricky part is that most of them fly in only 2-3 days a week, which can make make for odd flight search returns on certain days. Connecting through Mexico City (MEX) is a common route as there are many direct flights MEX-ZIH.
